“The Four Questions”

In celebration of the first night of Passover, we’ve come up with a different version of “The 4 Questions” for all of our avid job-seekers out there!

As much as an interview is a chance for the company to get to know you as a candidate, it’s a chance for you to get to know them as well. Asking questions to an interviewer not only shows you’re prepared and invested in the opportunity, but it will also help you understand their expectations for the position.

Whether you’re an upcoming graduate preparing for interviews or a pro who is looking to step up your game, we’ve got four simple questions to ask that will make you stand out as a candidate!

1. What’s the biggest problem facing your team right now and how could the person in this position help solve it?

  • This helps the interviewer already visualize you in the position.

2. What is the main priority for the person in this role over the next three months?

  • This shows you’re already taking initiative to fulfill expectations.

3. What does a typical day look like for the person in this role?

  • This shows you’re already prepping for your first day, week, and month on the job.

4. Where do you see the company heading in the next five years?

  • This shows you are invested in the company and seeking a long term career there.
